Please join for this year’s virtual SCUP Excellence Awards presentation and jury conversation.

The 2020 SCUP Excellence Award program recognizes and applauds institutions and organizations whose planning achievements exemplify excellence and dedication in higher education campus planning.

This year’s SCUP program will have two parts: The awards program is pre-recorded and includes observations and commentary by the 2020 jury members, as well as recognition of the award recipients. Following the pre-recorded program is a live question-and-answer forum with the jurors.

SCUP Excellence Awards (Prerecorded)

The 2020 jury members will recognize this year’s award recipients and share observations and trends from this year’s entries. The presentation and discussion will be divided into four sections: planning, landscape, existing buildings, and new buildings. At the end of each section, the jury members will recognize the projects associated with each of these main topic areas:

Planning

• Existing Campus Master Plan
• New Campus Master Plan
• District Plan

Landscape

• Landscape Open Master Plan
• Landscape Design

Existing Buildings

• Historic Preservation
• Renovation, Restoration and Adaptive Reuse
