Charting a Roadmap to Our Vision.
In celebration of its 250th anniversary, Dartmouth is developing a comprehensive master plan for the next thirty years. Building on a legacy of thoughtful campus planning, the new master plan will provide a framework for resilient development and preservation within the Hanover and Lebanon campuses, including
- Buildings, landscapes, open spaces, and infrastructure
- Local area real estate
- A Lodge, 6 cabins and outdoor campus at Mount Moosilauke
- The Second College Grant, around 40 square miles of undeveloped land that Dartmouth uses for outdoor education, recreation & research programs
Join us for this one-day symposium to explore how we’re infusing our campus plans with Dartmouth’s history, culture, and campus plans.
What this symposium will cover:
- The 21st century Dartmouth student
- Meeting the needs of our students
- The campus master plan
- Behind-the-scenes tours of new construction and renovations
- Our town/gown green energy plan
Skills you will gain:
- Describe what makes Dartmouth unique and how that’s reflected in the master planning process.
- Describe the characteristics and needs of Dartmouth’s students, faculty, staff, and alumni and how these inform physical planning.
