Community Conversation

As a community of practice, we are dedicated to creating more opportunities for members to convene around topics, challenges, and other points of interest – for free. As we explore these opportunities, we are excited to invite you to one or all of the upcoming conversations.

Discussion Topic

Human-Centered Change — Sustaining Change

This second read-along conversation will explore the remaining practices from the book, Essential Practices for Organizational Change in Higher Education, activating change agents and building the infrastructure to support lasting transformation.

How are you identifying and empowering the right people? What systems or supports are needed to keep momentum going? Let’s talk about what’s working, what’s hard, and what’s next. Bring your questions, experiences, and reflections as we continue learning together—guided by the book, and shaped by the community.

You don’t need to have attended the earlier session to participate—each conversation stands alone, though attending all is encouraged. Other conversations in this series:

Note: We ask all participants to engage thoughtfully, respect diverse perspectives, and honor SCUP’s community guidelines for productive and respectful dialogue. Community Conversations are not recorded.
