Membership CommitteeDescriptionProvides the board of directors with advice and recommendations regarding policies and strategies relating to membership recruitment and retention. Also serves as a forum for regional membership coordinators to network in their efforts to maximize membership in their regions. The committee's chair serves on the board of directors. The committee itself consists of a vice chair and one membership chair from each region. A regional membership vice chair serves during the final year of a regional membership chair's term of service for training purposes. Reporting to each regional membership chair is a regional Member Relations Team (MRTs), who are responsible for welcoming new members and nonmember attendees at SCUP events.
