Thank you to everyone who attended this conference. Conference ThemeBeyond Plan "C": Retooling for Integrated Planning Using the Campus as a Learning Laboratory In today’s volatile economy every institution is thinking “beyond plan C.” As planners, we need to be more creative than ever to help our institutions and clients advance their mission. Join your fellow participants April 15–17, 2012, at The Pennsylvania State University for the SCUP 2012 Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference. Here, we will use the campus fabric as an institutional learning laboratory, reinforcing the vital importance of preparation and coordination in the strategic, integrated planning process. In this highly interactive conference, we will take advantage of Penn State’s extensive campus as a learning laboratory. Between concurrent sessions on Monday and Tuesday mornings, we will learn first hand from Penn State representatives about some of the most challenging planning issues facing the university today. Following the tracks laid out in the call for proposals, participants will have the opportunity to join teams, move to specific areas of campus, and work together with Penn State representatives, experts, and facilitators to unpack and explore specific planning issues in context. Morning sessions will help frame the issues being explored in the “campus laboratory” by sharing the experiences of other institutions and industry experts facing similar planning issues. From the moment you step into the opening plenary session until the closing session two days later, you will be involved, engaged, and informed. Come share your experience and expertise with others as we use a campus as a learning laboratory! Plan to attend the SCUP 2012 Mid-Atlantic Conference on the beautiful campus of Penn State in University Park, PA. We promise this will be an informative, educational conference, with boundless opportunities for networking and active participation. Plenary Speakers
