
International MembershipSCUP's primary focus is North America, specifically Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Ninety–eight percent of its membership is from these three countries. Similarly, 98 percent of the registrants at the SCUP annual, international conference and idea marketplace are from North America. SCUP embraces its role as a member of the global higher education community and welcomes membership from individuals all across the world. There are currently approximately 110 SCUP members from 26 nations outside of North America, representing the continents of Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and South America. International colleagues bring a rich diversity of experience, information, and insight on the latest developments, best planning practices, and emerging trends in the higher education across the world. SCUP strives to be an organization which seeks to be an active player in the international marketplace of ideas about higher education planning and transformation. In addition to welcoming members from throughout the world, SCUP shall engage in activities to assure that it includes the experience and expertise from planners throughout the world, among them:
