SCUP Welcomes Dorys Crespin-Mueller, Associate Vice President of Integrated Planning and Effectiveness at Thompson Rivers University to the Board of Directors

(Ann Arbor, MI) The Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) is pleased to announce that Dorys Crespin-Mueller, associate vice president of integrated planning and effectiveness and interim vice president of people & culture at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in British Columbia, has been elected for a three-year term to the SCUP Board of Directors starting July.

As associate vice president of integrated planning and effectiveness, Ms. Crespin-Mueller provides leadership and support to the planning, policy formulation, and data-informed decision-making activities of TRU in support of the institutional mission. She ensures a comprehensive program of institutional data collection, analysis and dissemination to support the management, strategic planning and decision-making at all levels of university operations. Her division is the operational lead for the development of TRU’s first integrated strategic plan.

Crespin-Mueller has also undertaken leadership as TRU’s interim associate vice president of people & culture. She oversees human resources services across the institution including labor and employee relations, employee health & wellness, HR policies and procedures, compensation, employee recruitment and retention, and training and organizational development.

Moss, president of the Society for College and University Planning. “Our board looks forward to what we can accomplish with her perspective and contributions.

Crespin-Mueller earned her master’s degree in business administration at Royal Roads University, in Victoria, British Columbia, and she is a graduate of the SCUP Planning Institute. In addition to her service on multiple university committees, she is a former chair and vice-chair of the British Columbia Institutional Research and Planning Association, a current council member of the British Columbia Council of Admission and Transfer, and a current member and past president of the Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora Centennial.
