SCUP provides continuing education for the following organizations:
American Institute of Architects (AIA)
American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)
U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)
National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)
Many of SCUP's educational offerings provide continuing education units (CEU). However, all events are submitted and approved for continuing education credit on a program by program basis. Not all SCUP educational programs provide CEUs. To determine the type and amount of CEUs an event offers, please visit the event's webpage.
IMPORTANT: Any attendee who needs continuing education from any organization must sign in to each activity.
You can sign in to activities one of two ways:
You must sign in to an activity during the activity (not after). You can record attendance starting 10 minutes before the activity starts through the end of the activity. For more information, see “Guidebook” section.
SCUP is not able to report AIA credits unless you’ve entered your AIA number (either your member number or your TranscriptArchitect subscriber number) in your My SCUP My Demographics page. Please add your AIA number before the conference.
Attendees who sign in to activities will receive a certificate verifying attendance. SCUP will send instructions for accessing this certificate after the conference. Guidebook attendance will be processed immediately after the conference; paper sign-in attendance will take at least two weeks.
Record your attendance for each activity. After the conference, SCUP will provide a certificate you may use to self-report your credits.
Attendees who miss signing into a session should email continuing.education@scup.org.
If you belong to an organization not listed above, you may still be able to earn credits by self-reporting. Check with your organization's policies to see if you can earn credits this way. To receive a certificate to self-report, you must sign into each activity during the activity.
