Upending Conventional Models for Higher Education in Underserved Neighborhoods

In this session, we will discuss how to successfully plan campus facilities that accommodate place-specific educational content for non-traditional and underrepresented students as well as lifelong learning for community members.
Abstract: In underserved communities, higher education can visibly and accessibly integrate into a suite of critical community-based programs. In this session, we will discuss how to successfully plan campus facilities that accommodate place-specific educational content for non-traditional and underrepresented students as well as lifelong learning for community members.
