Abstract: Many institutions face scale-related challenges in pursuing carbon neutrality. This session will explore how the unique settings of both Boston University and Ball State University drove the success of their ground-source solutions. As a model for other institutions, we'll contextualize and detail two of the largest and deepest ground-source heat pump-chiller systems used to unlock campus-wide carbon neutrality.
