Salary: The full pay range is $22.05 to $29.19 per hour. The typical starting range is $22.05 to $23.84 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Nicolet College, is a comprehensive two-year college located on the shores of Lake Julia in Wisconsin’s beautiful North Woods region. We are seeking a thoughtful, innovative, enthusiastic, and student-focused professional to join our team as a full-time Project Specialist. The Project Specialist is responsible for coordination efforts between Nicolet College and the Wisconsin Indian Education Association (WIEA) to ensure deliverables are met for a grant-funded partnership project that align with tribal outreach objectives. The position supports 3 departments: business program, university transfer program, and tribal outreach. This individual acts as a point of contact, along with the Tribal Outreach Coordinator, for the Lumina Foundation – sponsored “All Learning Counts” project and will be expected to support the development and management of the working relationships with employees at Wisconsin Technical Colleges, the Wisconsin Indian Education Association, and Wisconsin tribal governments and/or their designees.
The position is based at the Rhinelander Campus and will travel to other locations throughout Wisconsin, with variable hours that may include activities that take place during the day, evening, or on weekends. Occasional overnight travel may be required. This limited-term position is funded by a grant through the Lumina Foundation through December 31, 2021. The selected candidate may be employed through the duration of the grant, subject to successful performance.
• Associate Degree, vocational education with 1 year of demonstrated project management experience, or high school degree with 2 years of demonstrated project management experience.
• Knowledge of regional American Indian Culture(s).
• Possession of a valid driver license.
• Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills.
