Salary: Salary and Benefits $30 per hour. Contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage.

Towson University is accepting applications for a contractual Planner in the Facilities Planning Department. This position will assist with signage development, procurement and coordination of capital and operational equipment, space utilization, and reallocation plans/studies, and campus planning initiatives. This position will also provide support for the development and assessment of campus capital and operating equipment needs and support for the equipment procurement and installation.
Design, procure, and coordinate the delivery of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for campus projects.
Assists with the preparation and coordination of FF&E efforts to support the University’s capital and systems’funded projects. Assists with reporting requirements and miscellaneous supporting documentation for capital
Manages and coordinates the delivery of Maryland Correctional Enterprises furniture for capital and non-capital projects with Procurement.
Coordinates and manages the completion of campus sign requests, landscape improvements, and other facilities projects as needed to support campus initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned such as: coordinating operational meetings, initiating departmental
miscellaneous expense reports, daily financial reports, and VISA reporting.
Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of related experience. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships; to handle sensitive materials with discretion and tact; to present ideas and information clearly and concisely both orally and in writing; to perform mathematical computations. Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and set priorities. Develop and participate in the development of best practices. LEED Certification and/or Interior Design Certification preferred.
