Job Duties

• Promote teaching and learning in radiologic technology in the classroom and clinical setting; assess student learning outcomes and provide students with timely written and verbal feedback.
• May participate in curriculum revisions with the integration of the latest research aimed at continuous improvement and new course development.
• Utilize a variety of teaching and learning strategies and innovative techniques including the integration of technology and the latest research to assist students in the achievement of learning outcomes and assessment of learning.
• Participate in work with the advisory committee to engage community interests in Radiology Technology education.
• Refer students to appropriate college resources as necessary.
• Participate in professional development activities related to teaching and learning theory and education in radiologic technology
• Maintain professional-technical, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Washington State certifications.
• Maintain clinical onboarding requirements.
• Actively support student success and college pluralism/diversity goals/initiatives and activities.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Arts in Radiologic Technology, Current ARRT in good standing, Washington State Radiologic Technology Certification, and Healthcare Provider CPR
• Flexibility to meet scheduled lab and clinical times
• Prior experience in working with students in a clinical setting
• Employment experience in all facets of radiologic technology to include inpatient and outpatient settings, fluoroscopy, orthopedics, surgery, pain management, general diagnostic, trauma and portables
• Applicant will require the ability to travel to Bellevue College clinical affiliates
