Responsible for the coordination and development of facilities planning and space utilization activities; including but not limited to: development and submission of planning documents, space analysis; data analysis; facilities state reporting requirements; annual or required internal and state data or documentation requests; other work pertaining to the space utilization and planning. The Facilities Planning Coordinator interacts and works with Design and In-House Construction, Project Coordinators, Florida Dept of Education, Facilities Maintenance and the college community.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Architecture, Building/Construction Management
*Education or a related field and/or completion of appropriate courses in building trades and technical skills.
Five (5) years’ experience in the field related to facilities and space planning, including experience in budget development and maintenance.
Practical experience in general building and architectural design, remodeling, and space planning, preferably involving an educational system, highly desirable.
Experience and proficiency in Auto Cad, highly desirable.
