Executive Director for Institutional Research, Assessment, and Analytics

The University of South Carolina is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader as their next Executive Director for the Office of Institutional Research, Assessment, and Analytics (OIRAA). The ideal candidate will have experience in higher education, familiarity with multiple data platforms, and a successful record of working with teams and communicating across complex organizations. Overseeing a current staff of 12 and coordinating across offices and campuses within the University of South Carolina System, the Executive Director oversees institutional research, institutional effectiveness, and accreditation.

Founded in 1801, the University of South Carolina (UofSC) Columbia is the flagship institution of the University of South Carolina System—the leading educator for the state, serving approximately 52,000 students across eight campuses. About the Position
The Executive Director serves as the face of OIRAA, leading and supporting a staff that oversees institutional research, assessment, analytics, data integration, compliance reporting, and accreditation efforts. As such, the Executive Director must collaborate across the University and the System. The next Executive Director needs to have strong data management and communication skills to consolidate and centralize and advance data collection, dissemination, and use.
