Salary: The full pay range is $20.84 to $27.55 per hour. The typical starting range is $20.84 to $22.52 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Under the supervision of the Director of Employee Relations and Organizational Development, the Employee Relations Specialist provides administrative support to the Employee Relations team. The Specialist provides confidential assistance for recruiting and hiring, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, and professional development functions and activities; and works with a variety of office and human resources software systems to perform administrative tasks in support of effective employee relations practices.

• Associate Degree in a related field or two years of HR experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of general office practices and procedures related to employee relations and HR functions.
• Degree and work experience in HR.
• Work experience in a higher education setting.
• Proficiency in additional Microsoft products including Teams, Publisher, SharePoint, and/or PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience working with an HRIS.
