The primary responsibility of the Email Marketing Specialist is to operate and maintain the school’s Salesforce and Marketing Cloud instance to build and develop, implement, test and monitor email marketing campaigns and manage a clean prospective student database for on-campus, online and hybrid programming. This includes making sure all email subscriber lists are updated and accurate. The incumbent will set up emails, event registration forms, landing pages, and journeys; select target audiences through data extensions; monitor campaigns; manage dynamic content and personalization. The Email Marketing Specialist will be sure all emails are optimized and mobile-friendly and will provide a final review of all emails before dissemination. The incumbent will analyze the performance of campaigns and provide dashboard insights and overall performance reports to the larger team to help improve email marketing strategies. The Email Marketing Specialist will follow industry best
practices and offer school guidance on industry standards (knowledge of CAN-SPAM regulations is helpful). The incumbent should have some experience with HTML/CSS and content management systems. Salesforce and Marketing Cloud experience is preferred.
2-3 years of Salesforce experience required. Experience within the setting of a University/college environment is preferred. Relevant education and experience may be substituted so Bachelors’s with 6 years of experience or Masters’s with 2 years of experience. N/A
