The Economics department offers 2 hour long classes Monday -Thursday at 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. during Summer quarter. During Fall, Winter, and Spring, the department offers Daily and 3 times a week courses (total 250 minutes) (M/W/F or T/TH/F). Adjunct Faculty teach at Bellevue College’s main campus and may teach online, as dictated by enrollment demand and department needs. In addition, faculty hold office hours and engage students actively in their own learning, including discussion, writing, and analysis; maintain high standards regarding course content; and provide students with timely feedback on their course work and examinations.
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Economics or related field
• Experience teaching Economics at college level
• Ability to connect and build relationships with students and colleagues from varied ethnicities, ages, backgrounds, learning styles, and abilities
