Job Duties

Under the direction of the CEIE Dean, the incumbent is responsible for a full range of enrollment management and administrative processes in support of CEIE, CEIE students, CEIE clients, other CSUDH units, and the South Bay community. The incumbent serves as the principle liaison for CEIE’s PeopleSoft CMS enterprise system for all CEIE registration activities and student record oversight. The incumbent will serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and provide enrollment trend data for the Dean in the strategic management of CEIE.

Skills in training staff and students in enterprise student information systems and learning platforms.
Skills in problem solving.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other enterprise student information systems. Knowledge of continuing/professional education.
Knowledge of and familiarity of university settings and educational practices. Knowledge of research techniques.
Knowledge of presentation techniques.
Ability to work effectively with administrators, support staff as well as diverse public constituencies.
Ability to provide direct supervision for multiple operations.
Ability to collaborate with diverse multi-cultural groups.
Ability to communicate effectively in oral, written, and electronic formats.

Experience and Education:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College within a related field.

Required Experience:
Equivalent to 5 – 8 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity in a non-profit organization, preferable an institute of higher education.
