Job Duties
Manages capital and/or in-house projects during the design and construction phase to ensure project completion within budget, on schedule, and within scope. Determines client needs, develops designs and project timelines, monitors and forecasts budgets, and supervises contractual matters. Coordinates project effectively across multiple people and teams.

Essential Functions
Oversight and management of the design and construction of multiple mechanical, electrical, and plumbing capital projects for the University’s School of Medicine, focusing on preservations projects, infrastructure renovations to support changing research needs and building controls upgrades. Must be able to juggle multiple projects in varying stages of design and construction. Also, manage construction of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects for educational and housing buildings outside of the School of Medicine portfolio.Physical Effort
Navigating to project sites; climbing onto roofs, temporary ladders and scaffolding.Valid driver’s license required.
