You’ll partner with the regions Higher Education leadership to set the strategy that connects the practice and its value proposition to the right clients at the right time. You’ll be the tip of the spear that finds opportunities, vets potential clients, identifies decision makers and gets the right people in the right places at the right time. You’ll also help guide the proposal effort and go/no-go efforts.
You are driven and self motivated. You enjoy doing doing research, figuring out who decision makers are, connecting with them and figuring out how to give your team the best chance to deliver the right things to the right people. You’re strategic and prefer to spend your time on the most productive things, the things that give you and your team the best chance for a win, because you like to win.
-10+ years of relevant business development experience
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field preferred.
-Driven to develop new clients and win.
-Strong written and oral communication abilities.
-Natural collaborator able to work with a wide spectrum of personalities.
-Ability to research, gather intel, analyze data, create and execute strategic plans.
-Ability to travel to a regional territory of states along with overnight stays.
-Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
