Job Duties

BC Governance (BCG) support staff perform a variety of clerical duties such as creating agendas and minutes, managing documents, and performing other duties as needed. They work closely with BCG chairs, officers, and Effectiveness and Research staff to support an effective and efficient governance system.

The position requires 6-10 hours of work per week throughout the academic year. Afternoon availability required; work is online (Teams or Zoom) for the foreseeable future.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to type and record minutes
• Reliable attendance scheduled meetings
• Timely email and other communications with council members
• Demonstrated ability to learn simple tasks on SharePoint
• Effective communication skills
