Business and Auxiliary Services consists of Auxiliary Services, Auxiliary Operations and Finance; Auxiliary Business Administration and Maintenance; and the University Stores. Our Department strives for the highest standard of quality and service. Auxiliary Business Administration and Maintenance oversee the critical business components of the department. We manage employees’ experience and success by providing professional and personal development programs, in-house talent acquisition, and personnel compliance/support. We analyze various data and components from across the department to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent service for our customers. We maintain all departmental budgets, oversee the purchasing of materials and services, maintain and operate an in-house stockroom, and provide accurate account reconciliations and monetary audits. Additionally, we oversee the maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of all University-owned housing, dining, and retail locations.
Business and Auxiliary Services is seeking a qualified Assistant Housekeeping Coordinator. Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Planning and organizing housekeepers for daily assigned work and summer conference assignments.
-Identifying and resolving issues involving work requests.
-Assisting with approving employee timecards, building inspections, conducting training, and equipment maintenance.
-Other duties and special projects as assigned.
This employee will be part of an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issues after business hours.
*This position is a Sunday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. shift.*

Qualifications for the Assistant Housekeeping Coordinator include the following:
-High school diploma.
-Bachelor’s Degree and/or completion of a comparable specialty program is preferred.
-Three years of related experience.
-Experience working with union staff and Collective Bargaining Agreements is preferred.
