SCUP’s regional events throughout the U.S .and Canada make it possible to focus your support, travel, and time in the markets and locations that are most meaningful for your organization. These are opportunities to connect and network, and offer corporate recognition and exposure among institutional leaders. Your support contributes to SCUP’s development of locally-based, high-value professional development programs connecting your goals with those who are putting planning into practice.
SCUP takes a holistic view of planning and topics reflect a full spectrum of higher education planning functions. Topics at regional events vary and include programming in the areas of facilities planning, academic planning, resource and budget planning, and strategic planning.
A variety of options are available to become an annual regional sponsor (gaining visibility across your region), or to sponsor an activity specific to a single event such as a plenary speaker, tour, meal, or break. Review the full list of opportunities here. Regional events are planned nine to 12 months out providing plenty of time for you to prepare and select the best option for your needs.
Regional conferences offer presentation calls for proposals which are open to SCUP members and non-members. Each call for proposals will outline any content or theme focus and any presenter requirements. All educational sessions at SCUP events must be non-commercial and free from product or service promotion.
Regional conferences are held in the spring or fall; 12–20 one-day symposia are scheduled year-round. View SCUP’s events calendar.
