Trish Jaraicie, CAE, is the director of communications and marketing at the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP). Her primary focus is to ensure members’ receive the most from their SCUP membership and to strategize ways to expand the size and reach of our organization. Working alongside her SCUP colleagues and volunteers, she aims to enhance and deepen engagement opportunities for the entire SCUP community and beyond, ultimately raising awareness of SCUP’s incredible community of professional planners across all facets of higher education.
Prior to SCUP, Jaraicie acted as the director of marketing at The Enrollment Management Association, where she led brand, membership, product, and service marketing, as well as served on the organization’s strategic planning team. Prior to that, she spent 10 years in various marketing leadership positions at an international consumer goods manufacturer in the music industry. Jaraicie developed her love for understanding customers’ needs while working in various roles at marketing and advertising agencies in the greater New York area, which served the financial, utility, telecommunications, education, and music/pro-audio industries.
She is a native New Yorker who now lives in New Jersey (a sin!). When not working, Jaracie can be found running lines with her older son, or telling her younger son to stop jumping on the furniture. On weekends, she’s usually found chopping onions alongside her husband, hoisting a sail, or reading historical fiction.
