As Managing Principal at HDR Architecture in San Francisco, Tom has been leading teams on award winning design projects throughout the Western Region. His professional experience includes thirty years focused on higher education, cultural, and science + technology facilities. Tom has engaged more than a dozen west coast campuses with over 4 million square feet of master planning, programming and design work. This includes facilities for academic learning, fine and applied arts, athletic programs, research + technology, and university administration. Tom has maintained an active role with SCUP for nearly thirty years and currently serves on SCUP’s Facilities Planning Academy.
