Susan C. Allen, with 28 years in higher education, currently serves as vice president for finance and administration at Georgia College & State University. She provides leadership support for the university’s resources to ensure the economic viability of the institution. The position includes oversight and leadership of accounting, business services, budget, facilities operations, facilities planning, payroll, human resources, materials management, auxiliary services, and public safety. Allen has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration, with a Governmental Financial Management Certificate. She currently serves as an ex-officio trustee on the Georgia College Foundation Board. Presently, Allen serves on the Resource & Budget Planning Council through the Society for College and University Planning, and she also serves on the Comprehensive and Doctoral Institutions Council through the National Association for College and University Business Officers.
