Mik Aguilar
Technology Strategist and Lead Advisor for Esports
University of Oklahoma
Mike Aguilar is the founder of the current three-year-old University of Oklahoma esports developments aimed at debunking gamer stereotypes by creating opportunities in academic curriculum, career placement, competitive energies, research topics, community engagement, and K-12 outreach. He is also an esports steering committee member for Sports Entertainment Alliance in Technology, or SEAT, an annual conference aimed are arming executive level decision makers in conventional sports entertainment with information and advice. Mike currently has a Masters in Business Administration, has been an avid gamer since the Atari 2600 and Apples IIe, is a US Army veteran, and an advocate for K-12 developments and at risk youth programs.
