Lee Jarboe – Nominee

Present Employment Position:
Vice President, JE Dunn Construction, Atlanta, GA (2016 – present)

Vision Statement:
SCUP has an exciting five-year strategic plan that will position SCUP as the thought leader within higher education to strengthen and transform the industry. As the Southern Regional Chair, I will collaborate at the society level to create engagement opportunities for our members that enable their institutions to utilize integrated planning strategies to address the challenges facing higher education and demonstrate the value of SCUP membership and its effectiveness on organizational resources.

I plan to build upon my years of experience as Membership Chair, both at the regional and society level, to strengthen the Southern Region by connecting across regions for high-quality learning content that positively impacts higher education planning. I will keep our region leading the way in innovating programming for one-days and the Southern Regional Conference as I did when leading the Keynote Speakers Committee for the 2019 conference in Atlanta.

The Southern Region has been instrumental in raising money and awareness of the SCUP Fellows program and I will continue to spearhead the charge for supporting this program that inspires the next generation of planners, higher education leaders, and SCUP members.

Finally, I plan to carry on the “fun” legacy that the Southern Region has become known and appreciated for. If we’re going to work this hard to impact higher education, we should enjoy ourselves, and promote world peace. 😊
