Vision Statement:

In today’s higher education landscape, there’s a notable fusion of strategic academic planning and the chance to redefine campus environments through lenses of resiliency, justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, all aimed at shaping positive learning outcomes. My journey with SCUP Pacific Region, from speaking at conferences to securing sponsorships and obtaining a Council seat, has allowed me to contribute to defining engaging content, embracing challenging topics, and leveraging the expertise of regional leaders. I’m fully dedicated to SCUP’s future and its potential to drive change.

In my architectural practice, I’ve closely collaborated with campuses along the Pacific coast, assisting in envisioning new futures, strategic planning, and enhancing academic facilities In my work with DBIA NW, I have helped to organize and contribute to national, regional, and local conversations about lessons learned and successful stories about new alternative delivery models that are helping to transform the opportunities to create value in higher education projects.

Drawing from this wealth of experience, I see vast opportunities to strategically shape our regional events, fostering inclusivity, a focus on learning, and ample growth opportunities. I look forward to an opportunity to continue my service for SCUP and a chance to guide our Regional Council in advancing the 2024-2029 SCUP Strategic Plan, prioritizing membership, partnerships, financial support, and expanding formal and informal learning and networking opportunities regionally and nationally.
