Questions by journalist Scott Baltic
With Terry Calhoun, SCUP's Director of Communications In June of 2001, journalist Scott Baltic contacted the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) for some leads to pursue in writing a sizeable article for University Business magazine on campus housing trends. We saw this as an opportunity to produce our first streaming audio interview intended for Web publishing and also as an opportunity to collaborate with ACUHO-I, the Association of College and University Housing Officers, International, another group with members who constitute a great body of college and university housing expertise and knowledge. Long-time SCUP leader Kevin Duffy agreed to join us and through the offices of ACUHO-I, we brought in Norb Dunkel. Scott agreed to conduct his interview during a conference call for later Internet distribution, and here we are. SCUP hopes you enjoy listening to the interview and/or reading the transcript.
