What is a SCUP Portfolio?
A portfolio is a way of bringing valuable knowledge from different places within the society's collection of resources and assembling them into a single,
useful PDF document that you can purchase, download, and then access on your computer whenever you wish. For example, a portfolio can include articles
from SCUP's peer-reviewed journal, Planning for Higher Education (PHE) journal; a book chapter, a white paper, or a list of
useful internet links.
Assessment & Quality
The portfolio contains 13 key articles that were published in Planning for Higher Education from 2001–2005. Each article
touches on assessment and quality issues in higher education and will make you think and learn. If you have been a SCUP member for the past five years,
you already have all of these articles in print format on your office shelf, but you do not have the same topic in one place and in a searchable format.
By purchasing this portfolio, you place all of these important articles at your fingertips, wherever you go, and you can easily share them in
educational and office situations.

Connecting the Dots...Essence of Planning
Rod Rose, the executive editor emeritus of Planning for Higher Education, selected his "editor's pick" of all the articles that were published from 1997-2003. The set of twenty-five articles are representative of a bridge between the old and new centuries. The articles discuss the planning issues or themes that colleges and universities must address as they face the 21st century with a set of new and emerging challenges, and an environment that is very different from the one experienced in prior decades.
