SCUP Fellows Program

We Build Leaders in Higher Education Planning

The Fellows Experience

The SCUP Fellows Award, supported by the Annual Fund, is designed to build emerging higher education leaders and to help them bring their innovative ideas and pioneering solutions forward. Two Fellows are selected annually through a competitive process. The program fellowship is one year.

SCUP Fellows:

  • Network with higher education leaders who focus on emerging best planning practices
  • Are mentored by SCUP members to expand their knowledge of planning and to build their professional networks
  • Contribute to SCUP’s higher education knowledge base of integrated planning through a project of their own choosing
  • Share the outcomes of their project with our constituency at the conclusion of their fellowship at SCUP’s annual, international conference and through other SCUP resources

SCUP Fellows Receive

  • One year of SCUP membership
  • Two full-conference registrations to SCUP’s annual conference (one at the start of the fellows program and one at the end), plus a $500 stipend toward each meeting
  • Registration to SCUP’s Planning Institute 1, or Planning Institute 2 (if a fellow has already attended the pre-requisite Planning Institute 1)

Eligibility

  • Affiliated with a college or university, either as a student or employee (or both) at the application deadline.
The Fellows program has helped me advance my career & continues to provide entree into national and international discussions on higher education’s future.
