Conference Theme

Resource Efficiency: Utilizing What You Have

SCUP and host Georgia State University have teamed together to provide a one-day symposium examining current trends in instructional planning at the system level. This symposium will provide insight into the current planning, upcoming tasks, goals and objectives of the University System of Georgia and Board of Regents, the Technical College System of Georgia, as well as several private institutions. This pertinent topic was inspired by a recent address to the Board of Regents by University System of Georgia’s Chancellor Hank Huckaby, who will be our keynote speaker. From system wide campus facilities condition assessments, space needs assessments, campus master plan updates to the development capital outlay lists; this symposium will identify the means in which institutions and agencies promote good stewardship of resources in this challenging economic landscape.
