Travel Information

The University of Louisville is located in Louisville, KY. It is a 2-hour drive from Nashville, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati, and a 15-minute drive from the Louisville International Airport.

Driving Directions

The exits for the University of Louisville are directly off of I-65 North or South.

  • If coming from I-265 (Gene Snyder) or I-264 (Watterson Expressway), you will want to head North on I-65.
  • If coming from I-71 South or I-64 East or West, you will want to head south on I-65.

From the North:

  1. Take I-65 South (Toward Nashville), to the Arthur Street exit (Exit 134). If you reach the Fairgrounds / Watterson Expressway exits, you have gone too far.
  2. Turn right onto Brandeis Avenue / Cardinal Boulevard.
  3. Turn left into the north entrance of Belknap Campus (First Street).
  4. Turn left at the first stop sign and proceed ahead to the University Club parking lot on the left.

From the South:

(I-65 is accessible from I-71, I-64 and I-264)

  1. Take I-65 North (Toward Indianapolis) to the Warnock exit (west 134).
  2. Turn left onto Warnock at the end of the exit ramp.
  3. Turn right onto Floyd Street.
  4. Turn left on Brandeis Avenue / Cardinal Boulevard.
  5. Turn left into the north entrance of Belknap Campus (First Street).
  6. Turn left at the first stop sign and proceed ahead to the University Club parking lot on the left.
