Thank you to everyone who attended this event. Conference ThemeIntegrated Planning for the New Student Experience Join us in Ames for the 2011 North Central Regional Conference! The Society of College and University Planning’s North Central Region is pleased to announce the annual, regional conference to be held October 10–12, 2011, on the campus of Iowa State University. This year’s conference theme is Integrated Planning for the New Student Experience. The conference will explore current themes and challenges in higher education planning and how they support the overall student and campus experience, particularly as they relate to informed decision-making, financial planning, policy development, teaching and learning, capital investment, educational technology, the built and future environment, institutional operations, and institutional mission. This year’s conference theme is intended to spotlight how integrated planning improves our institutions through enhancing the student experience. The focus on student experience, includes case studies, current initiatives and planning for future trends in a way that fosters direct student involvement with the conference. The conference is not only about the student experience, but it also fosters student participation in the integrated planning process. Currently, the conference planning committee is seeking proposals for concurrent session presentations for review.
