The Blackwell is conveniently located on the Fisher College of Business campus of The Ohio State University. As Columbus' newest upscale hotel choice, the Blackwell is close to the city's arts, entertainment, sports, and business centers.
Guest rooms offer a wide range of amenities and a comfortable environment. Guest rooms provide complimentary high-speed internet access, there is a fitness center, a full-service fine dining restaurant, a lounge, valet parking, as well as concierge and bell services. Check in time is 3:00 pm and check out time is Noon.
The SCUP conference rate is $119 U.S. per room (single or double), plus tax. In order to receive the group rate, you must make your reservation by Friday, September 9, 2005. Be sure and mention that you are attending the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) North Central regional conference. The Blackwell provides complimentary airport shuttle transportation for its guests. Advanced reservations are required and may be made by phoning The Blackwell at 614.247.4000 or toll free 866.247.4003. The shuttle runs every 45 minutes between the hours of 7:30 am and 11:00 pm, and by reservation only during the hours outside this window. Complimentary local ground transportation is also available to guests within a three-mile radius of the hotel.
Special Note on Hotel Availability
Guest rooms are projected to sell-out at the Blackwell over our conference dates. Rooms are available at the Holiday Inn (across the street from the Blackwell) and the University Plaza Hotel (located 1/2 mile north of The Ohio State University). Rates at both hotels are comparable to those at the Blackwell Inn. If registering at the Holiday Inn, ask for the visiting OSU rate. The University Plaza Hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to the Blackwell Inn and Conference Center.

Travel Information
From the East:
Travel I-70 West, to the State Route 315 interchange. Follow State Route 315, North, to the Lane Avenue exit. Go east (right), past Olentangy River Road, until you come to Tuttle Park Place. Turn right at the traffic light and follow Tuttle Park Place past Neil Avenue. The Blackwell will be on your left.
From the North:
Travel I-71 South, to the Interstate 270 interchange. Travel I-270, West, to the State Route 315 interchange (1.3 mi.). Follow State Route 315, South, to the Lane Avenue exit. Go east (left), past Olentangy River Road, until you come to Tuttle Park Place. Turn right at the traffic light and follow Tuttle Park Place past Neil Avenue. The Blackwell will be on your left.
From the South:
Travel I-71 North, to the State Route 315 interchange. Follow State Route 315, North, to the Lane Avenue exit. Go east (right), past Olentangy River Road, until you come to Tuttle Park Place. Turn right at the traffic light and follow Tuttle Park Place past Neil Avenue. The Blackwell will be on your left.
From the West:
Travel I-70 East, to the State Route 315 interchange. Take State Route 315, North, to the Lane Avenue exit. Go east (right), past Olentangy River Road, until you come to Tuttle Park Place. Turn right at the traffic light and follow Tuttle Park Place past Neil Avenue. The Blackwell will be on your left.
From Port Columbus International Airport:
Travel I-670 West, to the State Route 315 North interchange (6 mi.). Follow State Route 315, North, to the Lane Avenue exit. Go east (right), past Olentangy River Road, until you come to Tuttle Park Place. Turn right at the traffic light and follow Tuttle Park Place past Neil Avenue. The Blackwell will be on your left.
Interstate 270 is the bypass loop around Columbus, Ohio. It connects to interstates 70 & 71 from all directions, but only connects to State Route 315 from the North end of the city.
