SCUP North Central Region
We had a near record crowd at the 2012 conference at the University of Illinois with 219 attendees. Special thanks to Michael Hites, Kristin Cordova, Helen Coleman, Kevin Duff, and Jill Maxey at the University of Illinois, and program chair Joe Brinkmann, for their time and dedication in planning this successful conference. The 2013 regional conference planning team is gearing up for the regional conference at Washington University in St. Louis, October 14–16, 2013. Registration is now open! The council and I will continue to increase the region’s focus on one-day, lunch and learn, and smaller events as a way to reach out to more of you. In 2011–2012 the region hosted three one-day events with a total attendance of 199! I invite you to explore this webpage and associated links which will take you to information on regional conferences and other events, membership, professional development, communications, and other resources. Thank you for visiting North Central’s webpage.
