Hotel Information

The Lane Hotel
30 Main St
Keene, NH 03431
603.357.7070

The Lane Hotel provides a true boutique hotel experience in charming downtown Keene, New Hampshire. A treasured gem full of history and nestled in the heart of the Monadnock Mountain region, The Lane offers 40 uniquely styled guest rooms, all reflecting the beauty and history of this century-old building. Our well appointed features and amenities creatively deliver on all your expectations.

Originally constructed in 1891 by Elisha F. Lane, The Lane Hotel is now a Keene landmark. The building’s first 100 years served as home to Goodnow Department Store until it closed in 1995. Meticulous care and considerable design transformed the building to the majestic structure of the E.F. Lane hotel that first opened in 2001. High-ceilings and exposed brick walls are just some distinctive features that showcase the urban appeal of this downtown hotel. Charm is evident throughout the hotel such as in the select two-level suites that include cozy sitting rooms and the eclectic street-level lobby that looks out upon vibrant Central Square.

While you’re here, be sure to take time to enjoy the quintessential New Hampshire charm that downtown Keene depicts. Take a stroll down Main Street, explore the many things to do in Keene and wander into one of the several dining locations within steps from The Lane. Along the way, stop at one of the many artisan store-fronts to find hand-crafted specialties – the charm of Keene’s Main Street is all right outside our boutique hotel in Keene, NH.

The Lane Hotel is 3 blocks from Keene State College.

All guest rooms feature Queen or King beds, with pull-out couches available in some rooms, flat-screen television with cable, coffee maker, pillow-top mattress, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Some rooms offer a desk, Jacuzzi tub, microwave, refrigerator and sofa bed.
