Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment

This one-day workshop focuses on how institutions can ensure that they are achieving their mission through a culture of evidence, and the role of academic quality, continuous improvement and accountability in the accreditation process.

This one-day conference comprises two consecutive workshops that address tools for integrated planning and assessment and evaluating assessment programs. The workshops culminate with a panel discussion. The panelists will provides their perspectives on accreditation and what it means on the eve of the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act of 2008. The panelists are from a diverse background and include a two and four-year institution, a state Higher Education Agency (PASSHE) and a regional accreditation agency (Middle States Commission on Higher Education).
