It is accessible to all major interstates and BWI Airport. The hotel is situated directly across from Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium, it is adjacent to the University of Maryland campus, is one block from the Baltimore Convention Center and is five blocks from the Inner Harbor. The guest room rate for conference attendees is $99 (plus tax) for single and double rooms. For reservations, call 1.800.228.9290, and be sure to mention the SCUP Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference in order to get our special conference rate. Please make your room reservations by Friday, February 27 to be assured of room availability at the conference rate. Check in time is 4:00PM, and check out is at 12:00 Noon. Guest rooms are equipped with high-speed internet at a cost of $9.95 (plus tax) per day. Taxi cab fare is approximately $20.00 from the airport to the hotel for up to four people (with the same destination). The hotel does not offer shuttle service. There is a Hertz Rental Car desk in the hotel, and hours of operation are 8:00AM-4:00PM Monday-Saturday and 11:00AM-7:00PM on Sunday. On-site parking is available for $18.00 per day with in/out access. The Marriott Inner Harbor has a full business center. It is a self- service center open 24 hours Monday-Friday. Keep up with your workouts while attending the conference by enjoying the hotel's health club, indoor pool, and whirlpool. Two on site dining facilities--the Cafe Promenade and the Whitecap Tavern--allow guests to choose a variety of menu options. There is much to see and do in Baltimore, and the Marriott Inner Harbor is conveniently located near the Maryland Science Center (.4 mi.), the National Aquarium (.5 mi.), and the Babe Ruth Museum (.5 mi.) to name a few. The city offers many museums, arts and cultural events, and numerous activities for visitors.
