GBCI Website To learn more about GBCI, please visit their website. SCUP and the GBCI: Programs, Policies, and Procedures Credits Offered All SCUP programs that provide GBCI continuing education credit undergo the GBCI's rigorous approval process. Not every program qualifies for GBCI continuing education credit. SCUP applies for and provides CMP continuing education (CE) hours in most CMP categories. At this time, SCUP does not provide LEED-specific CE hours. Credits are measured based on instructional time. Every 60 minutes of instructional time will provide 1 CE hour. Each additional 30 minutes provides 0.5 CE hours. Please refer to each program to determine credit amounts. Eligible Programs Following GBCI policies, SCUP programs must meet the following criteria to be submitted for GBCI continuing education credit:
*At this time, SCUP does not have the assessment mechanisms required to provide GBCI credit for on-demand courses (recordings, articles, etc.). SCUP applies the following types of programs for GBCI continuing education credit:
Annual, International Conference*
Regional Conferences*
Webinars *Note: conference programs are submitted and approved for GBCI credit on a program by program basis, depending on the subject matter and qualifications of each program. Not every workshop, concurrent session, plenary session, or campus tour offered at a conference will be approved for AIA credit. Reporting Your Credits Every program that provides GBCI credit will have an attendance recording mechanism (sign-in form, QR code, etc.). LEED Professionals must self-report all of their CMP activities online through GBCI's My Credentials page. SCUP provides certificates verifying credits earned. Approved Programs If a program has been approved for GBCI continuing education, the amount of credits will be listed with the program description. For webcasts, please visit that webcast's CEU webpage. For conferences and one-day events, please refer to the event's program webpage and onsite program. Questions?
