Faculty Training
As a graduate of the SCUP Planning Institute, SCUP offers you the chance to be a volunteer faculty member, to facilitate a learning experience among your peers in a SCUP-interactive workshop with the goal of increasing knowledge and understanding of integrated planning across higher education.
During an one-and-one-half day training session, you will learn the methods behind delivering an interactive workshop alongside peers from your region and/or geographic area. We, in the professional development division of SCUP, will work to provide each volunteer faculty with all the support, resource material, and the latest adult teaching methods to make every workshop experience exciting and fulfilling.
All workshop participants are provided travel arrangements, hotel, and meal costs. The training sessions are offered once a year on the beautiful campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
