
Volunteering at SCUPThere are many ways for a member to get involved in SCUP. New to SCUP:If you are new to SCUP, consider convening at the annual conference or at your regional conference. Or, volunteer to contribute to one of several social media sites (LinkedIn, Facebook). Or, write an article or book review for Planning for Higher Education journal. Use the search below to find and apply for a position best suited for someone new to the society. Experienced SCUP Member:If you have been a SCUP member for a few years, you could volunteer to serve on one of the academies as a reviewer, on a regional council, or on a committee. Use the search below to find and apply for a position appropriate for someone who has a general knowledge of the society. Indicate Your Interest:Please note that a few of our volunteer job are elected positions (e.g., board of directors), some are appointed by the board (e.g., committee chairs), some require prior experience within the volunteer group, and some are only filled once every two or three years.
