Anthony F. Ceddia has served as president and chief executive officer of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania since 1981. This state-supported regional institution, serving 7,500 undergraduate and graduate students, is regionally and nationally recognized for the quality of its academic programs and its service to Pennsylvania and the region.

Presenter: Anirban Basu, MA, MPP, Chairman, CEO and Chief Economist, Optimal Solutions Group, LLC

Anirban Basu's ability to forecast economic activity has earned him prominence in the Mid-Atlantic region. He applies economic and public policy theory to issues affecting business, government and non-profits. He co-authored Baltimore City's strategic economic plan, and authored the industrial development plan that currently guides economic development efforts in Southern Maryland. His firm, Optimal Solutions Group, is a start-up economic and policy consulting firm located in East Baltimore. Until recently, Mr. Basu was the Director of Applied Economics & Senior Economist at RESI, the research and consulting arm of Towson University, where he continues to provide his expertise.
