Massey Principal Sasaki Associates Bill Massey is an architectural principal at Sasaki Associates, an international planning and design firm. He has 20 years of experience in campus planning, programming, and the design of buildings on college and university campuses across the US, many of them recognized for their smart and innovative sustainable solutions. Massey has completed or is in the process of designing built projects for Dartmouth College, Middlebury College, Colgate University, Plymouth State University, and Fordham University. Steven Baumgartner Associate Buro Happold Steven Baumgartner teaches a course called “The Sustainability Core” at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning. The course provides the next generation of real estate industry professionals with the technical understanding of high performance building, business-based thinking, and cost-benefit analysis they will need to promote more sustainable solutions for the built environment. In addition, Baumgartner is an energy engineer and environmental consultant with Buro Happold, as well as the president of the New York Chapter of ASHRAE. He has recently worked on the Hawaii Preparatory Academy Energy Laboratory, a zero net energy facility that has also met "Living" status under the Living Building Challenge. Colin Booth Designer Sasaki Associates Colin Booth is a designer in Sasaki’s Campus Studio with experience ranging from master planning through construction administration, and coordinates office-wide research initiatives. He teaches advanced comprehensive studios and the Thinking Green seminar at the Boston Architectural College, is a founding member of the Boston chapter International Building Performance Simulation Association, and is a member of the A&D Sustainable Design Leaders. |
