Shuttles
At the San Diego International Airport, follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. Shuttles are also available curbside at the Commuter Terminal. A transportation coordinator will place you with the first available shuttle, unless you specify a particular shuttle company.

Car Rentals
Car rental reservation boards are located near the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1 and 2. Use the courtesy phones provided to request shuttle transport to the car rental company of your choice. Using a reservation board is not always necessary, as car rental shuttles regularly operate at the Terminal 1 center traffic aisle and at the traffic island at the far west end of Terminal 2. If you follow the signage to any of these areas, it is likely that a shuttle will be waiting.

Public Transportation

The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is a bus and light-rail (trolley) system that travels throughout San Diego. Fares are $2.25 USD one-way for bus service and $2.50 USD one-way for trolley service.

Bus transit is available to/from the airport and downtown San Diego on MTS Route 992, which stops at Terminals 1 and 2 and the Commuter Terminal, and operates 5:00 AM–11:30 PM, every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends and holidays. The trolley does not stop at the airport, but Bus Route 992 connects with the Orange trolley line at America Plaza station.

Parking

Hilton San Diego Bayfront
Overnight self-parking is $27 USD/night per car. Overnight valet parking is $36 USD/night per car. Hourly parking is $7 USD/hour per car. Parking includes in/out privileges.

Omni San Diego
Overnight valet parking is $35 USD/night per car. A variety of non-Omni parking garages are located within one block of the hotel (prices vary).

San Diego Convention Center
Parking is available at the San Diego Convention Center's underground garage located below the building. Enter the parking garage on Harbor Dr between First Ave and Fifth Ave. The daily rate is $15. Payment is due upon entry and there are no in and out privileges. No overnight parking is permitted.
