Learning Outcomes

1. Investigate the culture of today’s students, and contribute to an opening conversation around student expectations and needs for physical and digital connecting to campus.
2. Review and evaluate a number of technologies that link digital content to physical spaces.
3. Investigate how the University of Michigan Dearborn has strategically positioned digital integration through the use of a variety of electronic media, reconciling it with their built environment and addressing their commuter population.
4. Determine what’s necessary, and what’s possible, to enhance the student experience, support faculty use, and enable staff access to deepen your institution’s relationship with students, alumni, and supporters.
5. Identify core fundamentals appropriate to a digital infrastructure that are supportable and sustainable.
