Upload Your Presentation

The deadline for uploading electronic presentations is Wednesday, July 15. After that date, you will be able to upload any changes to your presentation at the conference in the speaker presentation upload room.

Upload Site

You will need your SCUP ID and your password to log into the site. If you do not know your SCUP ID and password, retrieve them here. 

At the upload site, you can upload a PowerPoint presentation or other electronic files for both your electronic presentation and the proceedings. Proceedings are PDF versions of PowerPoint presentations which are kept on file by SCUP and may be shared with SCUP members. If your presentation contains proprietary information you do not wish to share beyond your presentation, use the Proceedings Only tab to upload an edited, public version of your presentation. If no specific proceedings are uploaded, the upload used for the presentation will be treated as the proceedings file.

There is no limit to the size of the PowerPoint you upload and present at the conference. However, if you want to compress your PowerPoint to a smaller file size, there is a function in PowerPoint called "compress pictures" which can help you do this. This could possibly decrease your upload time.

If you have a PowerPoint with large, embedded video movie files, you may want to upload your presentation onto the server in person at the speaker presentation upload room once you arrive at the conference.

USE OF LOGOS IN YOUR PRESENTATION:
You may use your institutional or firm’s logo on your first and last slide only in your PowerPoint or other electronic presentation. Please do not build your logo into the body of your educational presentation. This will help us comply with our requirements as a provider of continuing education.

ONCE YOU ARRIVE AT THE CONFERENCE:
Please check in at the speaker presentation upload room at the Oregon Convention Center when you arrive at the conference to deliver the latest version of your presentation (if we don’t already have it), and also to review your presentation. We want to ensure there are no compatibility issues when moving your presentation onto the meeting room PCs. The speaker presentation upload room will have staff to assist you and multiple stations for you to review, edit, and upload any changes to the central server.

The SPEAKER PRESENTATION UPLOAD ROOM will be in the Idea Marketplace, near the Internet Café, Oregon Convention Center

The SPEAKER PRACTICE ROOM may be reserved in one-hour blocks by signing up on the schedule posted by the door. There is a one-hour limit at a time for use of a room.
