Previous Recipients of The Perry Chapman Prize

2012

The inaugural M. Perry Chapman Prize was awarded in 2012 to the proposal entitled: “Research on Learning Space Design: Present State, Future Directions.”

The research team for the proposal was led by Susan Painter, director of the research studio at AC Martin in Los Angeles, California. The team also included: Janice Fournier, University of Washington; Caryn Grape, Moore Ruble Yudell Architects & Planners; Phyllis Grummon, Society for College and University Planning; Jill Morelli, University of Washington School of Medicine; Susan Whitmer, Herman Miller; Joseph Cevetello, University of Southern California.
